Development Planning

To lead in strategic planning and implementation of public policies and programmes to achieve sustainable economic growth and development.
Coordinates programmes and ensures they are consistent with official policy directives;
Assess and advice on the impact of policies and projects to ensure sustainable development (monitoring and evaluation, medium term delopement plan). Any project or activity to be worked on should be routed through the planning office for inclusion in the Annual Action Plan.
Monitor and report on assembly’s project and programmes
liaise with necessary stakeholders to gather data and information for effective decision-making
Any other responsibility that may be assigned
