• The Statistical Department collect, compile and analyze data based on standardized format developed by Ghana Statistical Service. 

      Coordinate District statistical activities and archiving of statistics to                serve as a repository of statistical data in the district.

      Establish and maintain a comprehensive district database

      Conduct social, demographic and economic surveys within the MMDA

      Coordinate the analysis of statistical data and publish statistical data.
