Western Regional Minister Hon. Dr Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah Tours Shama District Assembly.

On Tuesday, 10th January 2023, the Western Regional Minister embarked on a day working tour of the Shama District. He had a staff durbar with the staffs of the Assembly and held a DISEC meeting as well.

From the Assembly, the Regional Minister visited the Paramount Chief of the Shama Traditional Council, Nana Wienu II, who prayed for a successful tenure of all
political heads in the district.

The regional minister, Hon. Dr. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah took His to Roland Rice Factory where local rice is processed.

The Minister visited the Marco Polo Tiles and Keda Ceramics, two prominent ceramic companies in the district, to familiarise themselves with operations and chart
a path of growth together.

The regional minister inspected the ongoing construction of the new District Assembly office complex at the premises of the Shama District Assembly

Hon. Lawyer Erickson Abakah, ESQ the member of parliament for the Shama constituency was also there to grace the occasion.
