Shama District Assembly distribute 400 Metallic Framed Dual Desks to some schools in the district.
As part of efforts to create a comfortable and conducive learning environment for students in the Shama District, the District Assembly led by Hon. Ebenezer Dadzie distributed 400 metallic framed dual desks to some schools in the District. The desks were procured from the Ministry of Education to the Ghana Education Service, Shama.
The DCE in his brief speech made it clear that these measures were being put in place to help improve education. He stated that the supply of the desks is geared towards helping students gain some form of comfort and stability in the classroom environment for learning. He urged the school management committee to handle furniture with care and maintain them.
The DCE did an official handing over of the desks to the Director of Education, Mr. Raphael Aidoo-Taylor in a short ceremony held on 14th July, 2023. Present at the ceremony was the Member of Parliament for the Shama Constituency, staff of the District Assembly, staff of the Education Directorate and the media.
