CONSTRUCTION OF KOMFUEKU AND NYANKROM ROADS

After many years of anticipation, the major roads within the Nyankrom and Komfoeku communities are set to be constructed, marking a significant milestone in the development of the area.

This achievement has been made possible through the tireless lobbying and commitment of the Member of Parliament for Shama, Hon. Emelia Arthur, whose dedication to the development of the constituency continues to yield results.

In preparation for the commencement of work, the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Paul Otis Dentu led the contractors to meet with the traditional leaders to formally seek their blessings, prayers, and permission. This important step reflects respect for local customs and the vital role of traditional authority in community development.

Following this engagement, the MCE, together with the traditional leaders, accompanied the contractors to the project site, where prayers were offered for divine protection, guidance, and the successful completion of the project.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E John Dramani Mahama for his continuous support and commitment to infrastructure development across the country.

The road construction is expected to greatly improve accessibility, enhance economic activities, and uplift the overall living conditions of residents in both communities.
