Desilting of Drains in Shama district by the Environmental Health Department.

Chocked gutters were desilted in Shama and Beposo townships to allowed free flow of waste water and rain water in the communities. This is to prevent stagnation of waste water in the communities which may lead to breeding of mosquitoes to cause malaria disease and other diseases.
