National Sanitation Day observed at Shama District

Clean-up exercises (National Sanitation Day) was organized at Asemasa, Anto, Aboso, Shama, Shama Junction and Abuadze to clean the environment, drains and the streets of the communities. The exercise was carried out in the entire communities but intensively at the beaches to improve on sanitation issues confronting these communities. It was attended by representatives from the District Assembly, Ghana Police Service, GPRTU, Ghana National Fire Service and the Ghana Maritime Authority and the entire population of the communities.
